City Island Little League shack vandalized twice in same month

Posted: Updated:

The City Island Little League says its shack behind P.S. 175 has been vandalized twice in the same month.

It says that on Saturday, broken windows, cracked lights and an oven left on with napkins inside was discovered.

The Little League is run by volunteers who say the situation is escalating and want police to find whoever is doing this.

The volunteers say they believe a group in the neighborhood is responsible.

Last year, the shack received a grant from the Yes Network to revamp it. The Little League now must use its own money to fix it.
