Police: 29-year-old man fatally shot in Mott Haven

An investigation is underway after a 29-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Mott Haven.

Police say the man was shot in the chest outside of 350 East 137th Street just before 2:30 a.m.

The victim was rushed to New York City Health and Hospitals Lincoln where he was pronounced dead.

There is no word on any suspects at this time.

Police are asking anyone with information on the case to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
