Posted: Updated:

A man was attacked with a glass bottle inside a bodega in Pelham Gardens, according to police.

Officials say the attack happened on Jan. 28 when the suspect walked into a deli on East Gun Hill Road around 4 p.m.

During that time, a 32-year-old man told police he was inside the bodega when he got into an argument with the man caught on surveillance video.

Police say things then got violent. News 12 is told the suspect picked up a glass bottle and struck the victim in the face before he took off in a Jeep Cherokee.

The victim was treated for a cut to his face.

At this time, police say the man in the video is wanted for questioning. Police believe he is between 20 to 30 years old.

Police are offering a reward for information the leads to an arrest and indictment.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
