Police: 28-year-old punched, robbed while entering apartment in Norwood

A man was brutally beaten and robbed in Norwood on Jan. 28, according to police.

Police say the victim was trying to get home when the suspect attacked him around 1 a.m.

News 12 is told the 28-year-old man was entering his apartment building near Hull Avenue and East 204th Street when another man came up to him and punched him in the face.

Police say he then took about $180 from the man before running off.

The suspect was last seen wearing dark clothing and a cap.

Police say the victim was not seriously hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
