The NYPD released bodycam footage Thursday of a December officer-involved shooting that injured a man.

The video shows the graphic altercation and the moment two officers discharged their firearms at 21-year-old Erik Alas Moya, striking him 12 times in the torso.

Police say Alas Moya pointed an imitation weapon when confronted at East 167th Street and Grant Avenue.

Moya was taken to NYC Health+ Hospitals/Lincoln and was in critical condition. He also underwent surgery after the encounter.

As a result of the incident, Alas Moya is being indicted for three counts of menacing and one count of carrying a criminal possession.
