Toy photographer brings toys to life at Javits Center

Posted: Updated:

A toy photographer is bringing toys to life at Javits Center with his keen eye.

Mitchel Wu is a toy photographer from Los Angeles and has worked with some big names.

"Disney has used me for to create images for 'Toy Story 4.' I have done things for Hasbro," says Wu.

He also works with Schleich Toys and walked News 12 through a typical shoot.

Wu used to photograph weddings and switched to toy photography in 2015.

He will sometimes take 70 shots to get the perfect one.

The Toy Association Toy Fair at the Javits Center is a yearly event welcoming a sea of 25,000 global play professionals to see the newest toys, games and youth entertainment products before they hit store shelves.
