Police say a man was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in Pelham Parkway and Holland Avenue.
It happened at around 9 p.m. Police say the driver who hit the man first and stayed at the scene claims another driver also struck the victim and then took off.
Witnesses are corroborating with that information, according to police at the scene.
Police say they are not sure whether the victim was in the crosswalk. NYPD Highway Patrol says the victim may have been struck further back where his car was located at the time of the incident.
Police say they are investigating the incident as a possible hit-and-run. News 12 is told the victim is in his 30s and was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
