Posted: Updated:

Crews responded to a crash involving a police car in Fordham Wednesday morning.

It happened near 184th Street and the Grand Concourse around 10 a.m.

News 12 is told four people were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with minor injuries.

Police believe a police car and another vehicle collided. News 12 is waiting to hear what exactly happened, and if the patrol car involved was chasing the other vehicle.

According to the Vision Zero website, there were three accidents reported for this strip in January.

News 12 has reported on accidents happening at that intersection dating back to 2013, with a number of them being deadly.

Despite safety improvements to the corridor, people in the area tell News 12 the four-mile stretch needs more attention from the Vision Zero people.
