The mayor says the Laboratory School of Finance and Technology and South Bronx Preparatory will be closed for 24 hours after a student's ‘self-confirmed’ positive case of COVID-19. According to the mayor's press secretary "self-confirmed" means the parent reported has reported the case.
The Department of Education says it will be completely disinfecting the building.
