Online digital workshop gives students opportunity to learn from some of Broadway’s best

With the curtain temporarily closed on Broadway, performers - both established and in-the-making - are finding a new way to connect.
An online digital theater workshop called Broadway from Home is giving students the opportunity to learn from some of Broadway’s best.
Harley Harrison Yanoff and Tess Primack were looking for a way to connect and create theater in the time of crisis. That's where the idea of performing from home through a digital device came from.
Students from the city and from across the world simply log into their workshop on Zoom. Classes include everything from singing and dancing to writing and improv.
Each class is kept small, which gives students personalized time with their instructor. The students get the chance to perform what they have been working on and even get a round of applause.
