Thunderbirds, Blue Angels honor front-line, essential workers with formation flights
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels honored front-line and essential workers Tuesday with formation flights over New York City, Newark, Trenton and Philadelphia.

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels honored front-line and essential workers Tuesday with formation flights over New York City, Newark, Trenton and Philadelphia.
A formation of six F-16C/D Fighting Flacon and six F-18C/D Hornet aircraft conducted the flyovers as a salute from the Air Force and Navy to recognize health care workers, first responders, military, and other essential workers.

Residents in these areas were able to see the flyover from the safety of their homes while maintaining all social distancing guidelines during the event.
This mission is the first of several planned over the coming weeks.
