Police: Dispute leads to Bronx shooting, 3 suspects in custody

Police say a dispute led to a shooting in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx Thursday.

Police say a dispute led to a shooting in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx Thursday. 
They say it all started when a 23-year-old man and a 39-year-old man got into an argument. Police say the 23-year-old hurt his head during the fight and that’s when, they say, he pulled out a gun. 
Police tell News 12 he shot the 39-year-old twice in the thigh, dropped the gun, and that a 22-year-old man picked the gun up and ran away.
Police say he was picked up a short distance away and that the weapon was found at the scene.
Police tell News 12 the 23-year-old and the 39-year-old men are at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and are in stable condition. 
They say all three men involved are in police custody with charges pending 
This is an ongoing investigation, according to police.
