Police: Man in custody after fatal stabbing of boyfriend in Morris Heights

A man was fatally stabbed Wednesday in Morris Heights in what police believe was a crime of passion.

A man was fatally stabbed Wednesday in Morris Heights in what police believe was a crime of passion.
News 12 is told authorities have a 28-old-man in custody, who is said to be the boyfriend of the 38-year-old victim.
News 12 is told officers responded to a call at the River Park Residence on Richman Plaza around 10:41 p.m. When they arrived, they found the victim laying on the floor with multiple stab wounds in his body. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s boyfriend is believed to have stabbed him. According to the 28-year-old man, he told investigators it all started over infidelity.
Charges are still pending.
