Monday evening's storm may have only lasted a short period of time, but it left days' worth of cleanup for many in South Brooklyn.
Tree branches were down in Marine Park, with leaves and debris scattered everywhere.
Cleanup crews were seen with their trucks trying to clear the roads. Neighbors tell News 12 they were plunged into darkness when the branches ripped through some power lines.
News 12 spoke to a man whose car was destroyed, and he says he couldn't believe his eyes.
Con Edison’s power outage map showed several remaining outages Monday evening - mostly in South Brooklyn.
The Marine Park neighborhood alone still had around 20 customers without power.
