Crews battle 4-alarm car fire inside Morris Heights parking garage

Dozens of firefighters responded to a four-alarm car fire in the Bronx Wednesday morning.
News 12 is told it started inside a parking garage inside 1959 Jerome Ave. near East 177th Street, under a repair and collision shop.
Dozens of firetrucks responded to the area around 2 a.m. where they battled heavy flames and smoke. The blazing fire quickly turned into a four-alarm fire, where even more firefighters were called to help battle the flames.
FDNY says a car inside the parking garage caught on fire and started spreading throughout the building, burning for three hours.
News 12 is told those who were inside managed to get out on time.
Officials say no one was injured.
