Pool at Roberto Clemente State Park opens with restrictions

Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx has opened for the first time this year just in time for the July Fourth holiday weekend.
For poolgoers – masks are required for everyone not in the water, locker rooms are closed, and no bags are allowed on the pool deck -- just towels and water bottles.
The pool hours are divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with a 90-minute break for cleaning in between. The total number of people allowed in is capped at 430 – about one-third of the normal max of 1,200.
The pool is scheduled to be open seven days a week from through Labor Day.
The NYC Department of Parks and Recreation says there will be 15 city pools operating over this summer, with the first wave opening at the end of the month.
