Con Edison expects power outages in Bronx, Brooklyn to be restored by Sunday night

As of Saturday evening, more than 9,000 customers in the Bronx remained without power, while 1,300 were still in the dark in Brooklyn.

As thousands of people across the city cope with continued power outages in the wake of Tropical Storm Isaias, Con Edison says its crews are working around the clock to make repairs.
As of Saturday evening, more than 9,000 customers in the Bronx remained without power, while 1,300 were still in the dark in Brooklyn.
The utility says it expects all power outages in both boroughs to be restored by 11 p.m. Sunday.
Con Edison says it serves 3.5 million customers in total, 300,000 of whom lost power due to the storm.
