Surveillance video shows 2 men robbing bodega at gunpoint
A surveillance video shows a woman working at her family's bodega in the Bronx being robbed at gunpoint Wednesday.
The armed suspects are seen walking into the Candy Plaza Deli and Grocery store on East 172nd Street and Hoe Avenue around 5 a.m.
The husband of the woman who was robbed also owns the business and says his 30-year-old wife was cleaning and working behind the counter when two men wearing hoodies walked into the store and acted casually before taking out a gun and stealing from the store.
They got away with $70 worth of cigars and fruit snacks.
Katarinn, a woman in the neighborhood, says it's not about what the men stole that's shocking, it's how low they stooped to get what they wanted.
"She's a nice lady inside the store and she knows everybody and helps people with what they need. Everyone is family in this neighborhood, we're a small neighborhood," she says.

The store was temporarily closed as the NYPD investigated.
Sources say one of the suspects may have been a former customer, and they believe a deli across the street that was recently robbed may be connected to the robbery at Candy Plaza Deli.
