Suspect in strip club slaying remains at large
Police are seeking a man with a criminal past in connection with a fatal shooting outside an Eastchester strip club on Boston Road earlier this month.
Garrett Warren, 26, allegedly shot and killed a man outside the Key Club Cabaret on Oct. 9, according to police. The New York State Liquor Authority has since suspended the club's liquor license, citing a number of violations.
Police say the fight began when the victim, 45-year-old Jose Feliciano, attempted to intervene in a fight between two cabaret dancers. News 12 has previously reported that Feliciano was shot in the head in the club's parking lot during the altercation.
The NYPD and the Bronx District Attorney's Office say Warren has a long rap sheet with charges including robbery, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and obstruction of justice.
Officials say Warren has an additional four criminal charges that have since been sealed. He remains at large.
The owners of the Key Club Cabaret are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Warren's arrest.
