Several East Flatbush businesses assessed damage Monday night after an SUV sped onto a sidewalk and crashed into a pharmacy.

One woman was hospitalized from the incident.

Workers at a 99-cent store on Church Avenue captured the incident on video. The footage shows a Jeep Cherokee crashing through outdoor merchandise on Monday afternoon.

“I heard the car crack,” one worker said.

Another clip shows a woman jumping out of the SUV’s path.

Police say the woman, 68, suffered minor injuries from flying debris.

A nearby furniture store owner said he rushed outside when he saw the SUV’s lights and helped the injured woman.

“I put a pillow under her head,” he said.

The owner estimates the crash caused $800 in damages to his merchandise, but his biggest concern is personal safety.

“Had I come out earlier, I could have been hit,” he added.

The SUV stopped after slamming into a pharmacy at the corner of 35th Street and Church Avenue.

“The whole building shook,” a witness said.

Police say the driver experienced a medical episode and is in stable condition at the hospital.

A Department of Buildings spokesperson says they aren't issuing any vacate orders and have instructed the owner of the pharmacy to hire an engineer to submit an assessment to the department.
