As the Bronx continues to celebrate its 100th anniversary, a new exhibit offers residents an opportunity to look back at the struggles and triumphs of the borough in the past century and beyond.
The exhibit, located at 31 Chambers St. in Manhattan is called "The Last County," and is made possible by the city's Department of Records and Information Resources.
The exhibit features more than 100 key original historical documents, photos and press clippings relating to the Bronx.
"People 100 years ago had the same problems as people today do, and they're still fighting for it," says Alexandra Hilton, curator of "The Last County."
The exhibit is open to the public, and runs Monday through Friday until the end of the year.
