The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s new “Play it Loud” exhibit highlights the influence of rock-and-roll music and culture.
Curators Jayson Dobney and Craig Inciardi say the exhibit holds some of the music industry’s most iconic instruments.
“This is Ringo Starr’s first Ludwig drum set that he used in The Beatles when they were becoming big in Britain,” says Dobney.
The exhibit also features famous instruments used by Eddie Van Halen, Elvis and many other iconic artists.
It also features an early synthesizer by the man who created the tool.
The exhibit is available until Oct. 1.
