A Bronx man has been found guilty of fatally shooting a man back in 2013.
Prosecutors say Thea Gurley was convicted yesterday of fatally shooting Craig Brewington in March of 2013. They say Gurley tried to cover up what he had done by deleting text messages.
Police say Gurley lured Brewington to his apartment after he was interested in buying a gun. They say Gurley then used the gun to kill him.
Police say they were able to recover the text messages Gurley sent out about what he had done.
Gurley now faces up to 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced.
