A Woodlawn building was burglarized by a sneaky thief who used a garbage chute to get inside and get away.
Investigators released surveillance video of the suspect, who also had to get past a fence with barbed wire in order to get inside the building on East 238th Street, which is currently under construction.
Once inside, police say he shattered a window to an office on the main floor and stole tools. It happened just after midnight on Sunday.
The man is described as having a dark complexion, and being somewhere between 20 and 35 years old. He has black hair with a beard, and was wearing a blue hooded jacket.
