Residents living in apartments surrounding a Tremont post office say they are fed up with waiting on long lines just to get their mail.
News 12 was at 575 East Tremont Ave. where customers say they are not receiving mail or their packages.
In a statement from the USPS, they said in part: “Unfortunately, there are many residential buildings in the area around the post office at 575 East Tremont that do not provide adequate postal access or resources for their residents."
The statement goes on to say that the USPS has been working with some building managers to “install key keepers, which guarantee a postal employee can always access the building for regular delivery."
