US Postal Service: 6,200 mail carriers attacked by dogs last year

As a part of National Dog Bite Prevention Week, the U.S. Postal Service is bringing attention to how many mail carriers were attacked in the last year.
The agency says more than 6,200 employees were attacked by dogs nationwide last year. Houston tops the list with 71 dog attacks, followed by Los Angeles with 67 attacks and Saint Louis with 52 attacks.
Brooklyn registered 21 attacks, while the Bronx registered nine attacks.
