Wakefield shooting has residents concerned
Police are investigating a shooting in front of a Family Dollar store in Wakefield.
The incident involved two young men shopping in the store who exchanged words with a third male in a dark T-shirt. After they spoke and began parting ways, the male in the dark T-shirt shot a gun in the direction of the other two men, sending those in the area scrambling.
No one was shot. However, bullets were found in the tire of the car of a woman who was inside the store at the time of the shooting.
Police say they have arrested a suspect, an unidentified black male, and are continuing to canvas the area as they investigate further.
