Tenants living at 3240 Riverdale Ave. finally had their water service restored Wednesday after being without it for days. 

The tenants had no water for cooking, showering or flushing the toilet. They say the situation was bad.

The Department of Environmental Protection tells News 12 the water was restored in the afternoon.

The building's management provided bottled water while the water was off.

Building officials believe the problem may have been connected to ongoing construction work on Greystone Avenue.
