West Farms intersection riddled with potholes
Some dangerous potholes are making it difficult for pedestrians and drivers at a West Farms intersection.
Residents say the potholes on E. 178th Street and Boston Road are a problem. Dorothy Braithwate uses a walker to cross the street, but she says the giant craters are making it difficult. She says all of the pebbles coming from the potholes get stuck on her wheels, and she is afraid of getting hurt.
The Department of Transportation says it does have crews scheduled to visit the area.
Concerned residents can report potholes to the Department of Transportation.
