A man followed a young girl into her apartment building and threatened her Monday, witnesses say.
Surveillance video shows a man entering the building on Walton Avenue.
Police have not confirmed that the man in the video is the suspect.
Witnesses say the man followed the young girl for several blocks, trying to talk to her before he entered her building and got into the elevator with her.
They say when they got to the ninth floor, he threatened to hurt her.
Police say the suspect is a man in his 20s, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 175 pounds.
