Woman robbed of disability check in Mount Hope home
Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a Bronx woman in her own apartment after she picked up her disability check.
According to the 56-year-old victim, she was put in a chokehold until she passed out as she was entering her home on Ryer Avenue in Mount Hope on Nov. 3.
The suspect was caught on surveillance video wearing a red and white striped sweater with a matching hat. He's described as being in his early 20s and about 6 feet tall.
