Word on the Street: Benefits of beauty
A 20-year-old Fordham University student wrote an article saying that she believes the reason she gets treated nicely is because of her good looks, not her actual character.
News 12 hit the streets to ask residents if they thought people treat others based on looks.
"The more attractive, the more they are accepted," said one resident. "If you see someone that is ugly, people start mocking them, making a mockery out of them. But if someone is attractive, they get all the praises and treated better."
