The New York Giants rolled out the red carpet for some special visitors ahead of their game Sunday against the L.A. Rams.
At the McLaren auto dealership in Ramsey, eight children fighting severe illnesses received special rides in incredible sports cars to the game at MetLife Stadium. Ahead of the game, the kids got to meet with members of the team.
Tomorrows Children's Fund, McLaren, the Giants and Bergen Pain Management worked together to make the memorable day a reality for the patients, who are each dealing with illness and cancer.
“It just takes them away from the dark cloud hovering over them now and brings them to a place where they can have fun,” says Don Caminiti, vice president of Tomorrows Children’s Fund.
The children pulled up to a special entrance where they received gift bags and greetings from team members.
