A young woman was found stabbed to death in Bronx River Park Sunday morning.
Police say they responded to a 911 call about a young woman found unconscious near the running path along the river just before 6 a.m.
Officials say they found the victim unconscious with stab wounds to her midsection. They confirmed that she died a few minutes after their arrival.
Family members have identified the victim as 22-year-old Jasmine Gonzalez. Gonzalez's sister says the victim was supposed to meet her ex-boyfriend to discuss custody of their son.
The victim's sister says the ex-boyfriend was taken into custody for questioning after his bloody clothes were allegedly found in her apartment.
