yesterdayOne person is dead and another person is injured following a shooting in Crotona Park Friday night.
Police were seen down Longfellow Avenue where a small section of the sidewalk was closed off.
News 12 is told that just before 6 p.m., two 27-year-old men were shot on Longfellow Avenue at 173rd Street.
News 12 is told one of those men was shot in the head and that the other was shot in the shoulder.
The man who was shot in the head was pronounced dead and it is unclear if there were bystanders or intended targets at this time.
However, sources tell News 12 they are investigating whether the two men shot each other.
No arrests have been made at this time.
