The NYPD says one person is dead after a stabbing incident between roommates in a Bronx apartment.
Police say they responded to 3135 Perry Ave. for a 911 assault call at 3:09 a.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they found a 29-year-old man inside an apartment unconscious and unresponsive with stab wounds to his neck and chest.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say a 21-year-old man and 20-year-old woman, who are a couple, were also inside the apartment and were taken into custody.
All three people involved are residents of the apartment. According to the NYPD, a supposed dispute about noise in the apartment escalated between the three roommates leading the suspects to allegedly stab the victim.
It is unknown if the couple called the police or if someone else did.
The investigation is ongoing.
