The borough has a new millionaire! The New York lottery says that a second prize, $1 million Powerball ticket was sold in the Bronx.
The prize was for Wednesday night's drawing with the ticket purchased at Ahmon Food on Williamsbridge Road in Morris Park.
Second prize means they matched all five main numbers, but not the Powerball.
If they did, they would have taken home over $211 million, but according to the lotto officials, no jackpot tickets were sold anywhere in the country.
