One person is dead after a building fire in Sheepshead Bay.
The FDNY says that the fire broke out around 2 a.m. Thursday at 2709 Ocean Ave.
The unidentified person was found inside the building, unconscious and unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The FDNY said there were cluttered conditions inside the apartment but did not say if impacted their response.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
