They say that you’re never too young to make a difference. That's especially true for 10-year-old New York native Rogan Yadgard.
Rogan Yadgard has big dreams and an even bigger heart. A few weeks ago, Rogan was volunteering with his parents at the nonprofit Mott Haven Fridge Network when he found out the group was in need of a refrigerated truck for the hot summer season.
Rogan created his own website to raise money for the truck and he met his latest fundraising goal of $10,000.
Dan Zauderer, who runs the Mott Haven Fridge, was blown away by Rogan's generosity.
Recent research shows that more people than ever are struggling to find access to healthy food because of the pandemic.
For Rogan, it’s simple.
“These charities do really good for people, and even just taking time to look at the work they do and acknowledge how nice they are to different people in the community," he says.
Mott Haven Fridge is still accepting donations as it raises funds to buy the new truck.
