The nonprofit group Rain Alzheimer’s Care Link Program launched the program thanks to a grant from the New York State Department of Health.
The goal is to lift the stigma surrounding old age by empowering young people and bridging a gap.
Organizers say students can bring back the information they learned in the classroom to their families and begin to foster a dialogue to help support themselves and their families and community.
