A scroll that survived the Holocaust has been restored and is ready for prayer.
Experts took the 100-foot-long Torah and restored its more than 300,000 characters over the past year to make it suitable for prayer once again.
The Torah was one of around 1,500 that were saved from the Nazis in Czechoslovakia back in the 1940s during the Holocaust.
Calvary Hospital was gifted the Torah 30 years ago and since then, it hung in the chapel. Over the years, wear and tear on it made it unusable for prayer, according to Orthodox Jewish faith.
