Police: Man facing drug charges following compliance inspection

A 17-year-old boy was injured Friday night in a shooting at the border of Claremont and Morrisania, according to police.

It happened at 1285 Washington Ave. in a playground in the back of a NYCHA building.

Authorities say the bullet struck the victim in the hip shortly after 10:30 p.m.

He was rushed to a hospital and is expected to be OK.

No arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.
