Two Bridgeport brothers are turning their passion into a career at a local brewery opening next month.

Chris and Richard Ruggiero say their dream is to combine their passions - Richard's passion for lager brewing and Chris' quest for the perfect listening experience.

Set to open in June, Berlinetta Brewing Company will serve crisp, refreshing beer styles, while also serving as a hi-fi listening room for folks to discover, discuss and even buy great vintage music.

Richard Ruggiero says the brews he's crafting are perfect for a sunny summer day or a long listening session.

"Because of these beer styles being lighter, you can have two or three of them without being too drunk or hungover. It suits this environment where we wanted to make a place where people could really hang out, spend a couple hours and talk to each other. It's not all about the beer - people shouldn't be obsessing over the beer, they should just be enjoying their time here," said Richard Ruggiero.

On opening day, Berlinetta is set to have six refreshing brews on tap including the Berlinetta Kolsch.

Berlinetta is currently set to open June 5.
