Two charred vehicles and smoke-filled air remain from a car fire in Pelham Parkway early Monday morning.
The FDNY says it received a call around 2 a.m. about a car on fire near the corner of Lydig Avenue and Holland Avenue. Hours later, at least two cars remained at the scene, including one with a car seat in the back and an image of the Virgin Mary in the front.
The cause of the fire and which vehicle first caught flames is still being investigated.
It took firefighters around an hour to get the flames under control.
No injuries were reported.
There was another car fire Sunday at the corner of Barretto Street and Garrison Ave in Hunts Point.
