A 20-year-old man accused of stabbing a 31-year-old man to death near Fordham University on Sunday was arrested and charged with murder.
Police say Dontay D. Taylor, of the Bronx, faces murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon charges.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. near the corner of East Fordham Road and Webster Avenue. Police said the victim was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
One witness named Ness, who asked not to give her last name, told News 12 that she watched the situation escalate and move from the middle of the block to the street corner.
Ness said the attacker used a big kitchen and then ran off.
