Mayor Eric Adams held a community conversation in Sunset Park on Monday, where tables of residents were able to ask the mayor questions.

Adams answered a variety of inquiries covering immigration, housing, language barriers and other challenges that New Yorkers are facing. Each table of 10-12 participants came together to create one question for the mayor.

Some neighbors gave out a report card giving the mayor an F- from the Sunset Park community, citing their concerns about policing, education, housing, immigration and community development.

Many residents from Monday’s community conversation say that the mayor has a lot of changes he’ll need to make to improve the city.

“We’re doing a good job,” said Adams. “Say what you want, but this is an amazing team that serves the people of the city of New York.”
