Police in Morrisania are asking for the public’s help to identify a group of men who robbed an elderly man at gunpoint on Thursday.

Police say the 77-year-old victim was standing on Prospect Avenue and East 167th Street at around 2:30 p.m. when the men pulled a gun out and demanded his property.

News 12 is told the men got away with his cell phone, jewelry and wallet before leaving the scene by car.

Police say the victim was not injured.
