Bronx residents spent Sunday afternoon enjoying music at Ferry Point Park at the weekly Bronx Borough President’s Summer Concert Series.
Performers at the concert included Grand Master Melle Mel, Yvonne Chow, King B and the Dowe Twins. They took to the stage to break dance, rap and salute the undeniable influence of hip-hop in the Bronx.
The Summer Concert Series is hosted by Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson.
Gibson says it's an honor to continue the summer long celebration of hip hop here in the Bronx.
Next Sunday, Sept. 3 will be the grand finale of the Bronx Summer Concert Series in Co-Op City.
