Commuters say they are frustrated by disruptions caused by repairs taking place on the G train line.

The first phase of construction kicked off on Friday night. Trains will not operate in either direction between Court Square and Nassau Avenue until July 5.

The MTA is providing shuttles for travelers in the meantime. However, riders tell News 12 that the disruption to their commute is a hassle.

“First of all, they got us getting off at Nassau just to take the bus straight back to Greenpoint? It's ridiculous. It's longer,” said a commuter.

Other areas are also being impacted. Starting July 5 until Aug. 12, trains will not operate between Court Square and Bedford Nostrand Avenue.

From Aug. 12 to Sept. 13, there will be no trains from Bedford Nostrand Avenue and Church Avenue.
