Police say a teen's body was pulled from the water in Gerritsen Beach Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say the victim was an 18-year-old boy. His identity has yet to be released.
First responders found the teen floating in the Plumb Beach Creek near Garland Court shortly before 5 p.m. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's not clear how the victim ended up in the water, but officers say he did not appear to have any injuries.
The discovery comes days after a boater was killed in nearby Gerritsen Creek.
The medical examiner's office will now determine the exact cause of death.
